The factory rear differential cover on your F150 is nothing to write home about, and if anything, can be a big detriment when it comes to general rear-end maintenance. The PPE Raw Aluminum Differential Cover for 2015-2023 F150s with Super 8.8" rear ends makes changing your F150's differential oil a heck of a lot easier all while providing vastly improved strength and cooling over the factory stamped steel differential cover. Each PPE F150 differential cover features both built-in drain and fill plugs, which means that you don't have to completely remove the differential cover when you want to change your gear oil. PPE's differential cover is made entirely out of aluminum and features internal and external cooling fins that helps keep temperatures down to generate less heat to cause less wear and tear on both the differential itself and on the gear oil. PPE carefully designed their F150 Super 8.8" rear end differential cover to drop right onto your truck's rear end without any permanent modifications. The cover is made entirely out of cast aluminum that dissipates heat much more effectively than the stock stamped steel cover, and heat dissipation is further improved by the built-in cooling fins on both the interior and exterior of the cover so that your rear end temperatures stay under control during high-speed driving and heavy towing. Each cover comes with extra gusseting for improved strength, as well as a curved design with built-in oil scrapers that help prevent churning. The cover comes standard with fill and drain plugs, and the drain plug is magnetic in order to get as much debris out of your F150's gears and bearings as possible. The cover also includes a 1/8" NPT port on its right side that allows you to install a temperature sensor for better monitoring. The cover comes with installation hardware and is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
