Description
Designed for aggressive off-road use, BILSTEIN's B8 5160 Remote Reservoir shock absorbers provide ultimate vehicle control, even on the harshest terrains. The B8 5160's nitrogen-charged monotube design contains a floating dividing piston separating the gas and oil, providing consistent, fade-free performance. Damper body features zinc plating to assure long-term durability, and increased oil capacity helps dissipate heat more effectively. The remote reservoir offers increased travel and cooling. BILSTEIN's patented digressive valving allows shock absorbers to instantly react to changing surface conditions for a stable, controlled, and comfortable ride.
Thanks to the remote reservoir, B8 5160 shocks are valved and tuned for the specific year, make, and model of your vehicle. Other factors are also considered: tire pressure, towing, loaded or unloaded, etc.
