Bilstein B8 6112 leveling kits are designed to provide more ground clearance, allow for larger tires, and increase wheel travel. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-2.75 inches of front lift (depending on application).

These kits consist of (2) 60mm shock absorbers combined with (2) custom matched cold wound coil springs and (2) billet aluminum spring seats. The large 60mm digressive piston allows for increased damping control for optimal on-road and off-road capabilities. Great ride

set my 6112s on the tallest setting (11/9) and it rides great. a little stiff but still comfortable. it claims a 2" lift but after settling i actually got around 2.5"

Great option

So far, I really like this setup. I opted to have the front struts assembled by Hotshot, and set the circlips to the #8/#7 positions for about 1" of lift. I plan on rasing them once I lift the rear. Installation took 3 hours. The ride is just as smooth and compliant as OEM, and Im looking forward to hitting some trails this summer. Good customer service and prompt shipping. I think this 6112/5160 is a good "middle of the road" setup for people wanting a high quality suspension replacement, but that do not want/or need to go with the more expensive options like King, Icon etc.

Awesome Customer Service

Placed my order and last minute decided to make a change, Hotshot Offroad was great to deal with and made the change without issues. Bought a lift kit for my tacoma and the parts came in without issues or damages even though they were heavy boxes. Would highly recommend!

Great suspension

3rd gen Tacoma TRD Offroad. I had narrowed my suspension options down to a few different setups and then spoke to Colton and he recommended the Bilsteins for my needs. I’m very happy with them. Much better road manners than stock. Good price point and should be a reliable, long lasting setup for a daily driver. Been on offroad trails a couple times and it’s a huge improvement over the stock suspension there too.

Good springs

Great springs, and give about 1" of lift over the default 600# springs (assuming stock weight),
With the weight of a stubby bumper, winch, AL skids and steel sliders, I ended up having about a half an inch of lift ontop of the circlip reference chart.

E.G. clip7 (1.4") + .5" lift = ~2inch

I do however second guess whether I should have compensated for the driver's side lean using a spacer instead of preload as even though my driver's side sits statically level with the passenger side, there is a nominal difference in dynamic response and handling between the sides that is fairly noticable on uneven terrain, braking and throttle.

Good winch

Great winch for a good value, I opted to get this instead of the Harbor Freight Badlands winch due to the lack of any warranty with the HFT winch unless you pay substantially more for a short-lived warranty.

My only complaint would be that this comes with M8 (5/16) instead of the more common 3/8 battery terminal lugs, so I had to buy new terminals and a crimpling tool.
